Introduction

The Meiji Jingu Gaien is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. 

This small project was made to to show support for everyone concerned about the planned redevelopment of the Meiji Jingu Gaien, in particular the expected loss of trees. 

How to enjoy the walk

The quickest way to get started is to click or tap the "Run ArtCart" button above. If you are playing on a smartphone without headphones then you might need to disable silent mode to hear sounds or music.

When using a PC browser: if you scroll away from the game while it is running you might need to click on the game again to register key presses.

For the best experience download the "Meiji Jingu 8-bit.gb" file below and play on a real Game Boy Color using headphones (the file is also compatible with the original, i.e. non-color, Game Boy). This requires a flash cart such as the EverDrive-GB X7 or the EZ-FLASH Junior. 

The walk can also be enjoyed using emulators such as SameBoy or BGB. 

Alternatively, if you have an Analogue Pocket then you can run the file "Meiji Jingu 8-bit.pocket".
